Pininfarina Battista- EV generation luxury

With 90 years of remarkable Pininfarina designs, Automobili Pininfarina introduced the birth of a beautiful dream. Meet the namesake, Battista. The all-electric hypercar produces nearly double the power of a Formula 1 race car while producing zero emissions. The first solely Pininfarina-badged car promises unprecedented performance, touting 1,900hp and 1,696 ft-lbs torque.

The Battista is paving the way for new standards of luxury electric cars. Sustainable innovation is achieved without compromising on extreme performance and breathtaking beauty. The Battista is a pivotal model that will elicit desirability for the EV-generation. No more than 150 Battistas will be hand-crafted for the world’s automotive connoisseurs and personalized in the Italian atelier. As CEO, Michael Perschke remarked: “The Battista is the hypercar of the future, inspired by a legendary past.”

The ultra-sleek, carbon fiber monocoque is incredibly light while maintaining structural rigidity. The floating wing effect proves to be an iconic part of the Battista, as well as the characteristically-Pininfarina tear-drop shaped cabin. The front carbon splitter and large active rear diffuser add functionality to the design. There are three Battista specifications: Grigio Luserna, Blu Iconica, and Bianco Sestriere. Grigio Luserna is a satin grey finish with anodized aluminum detailing that is elegant and dynamic. Blu Iconica is not only a deep electric blue, but also has a more dramatic modified bonnet. Bianco Sestriere, pearlecent white with colorful aluminum details along the flanks that are striking and stylish. Each Battista’s unique exterior design integrates aerodynamics and performance functionality.

Pininfarina is set to pioneer the luxury EV market with the Battista. Not only is the Battista the first solely Pininfarina badged car, but also the first all-electric luxury hypercar. The Battista can charge its batteries from 20% up to 80% in under 25 minutes, while ranging up to 500 km on a single charge. This hyper car produces zero emissions and simultaneously boasts 1900hp. Pinanfarina strikes again; hiding ground-breaking technical and sustainable innovation beneath a beautifully, sleek body. This is more than just a new model introduction, but a pivotal moment in the automotive world.

Unveiled at the Geneva Auto Show, the Battista encapsulates the Pininfarina spirit. The Battista embodies the PURA design philosophy – Purity, Beauty, Rarity. Purity in the legendary Italian design. Beauty from every angle. Rarity in the melding of zero-emissions with luxury performance. Driver focused ergonomics ensure maximum comfort without compromising on style. Dual screens are located on either side of the steering wheel and vital information in the center. A luxurious on-board ambience is created by the bespoke details — including: quilted leather finishes, carbon fiber components, and ‘Battista’ plating. There are virtually endless ways to personalize the interior of the Battista.
